    Title
Kiro IDE Allows Agentic Writes to Global Configurations While Working in Untrusted Workspaces
    Summary
The file write tool in Amazon Kiro IDE versions before 1.0.242 might allow remote unauthenticated actors to inject crafted instructions into the agent's context. When a user runs the agent in a crafted repository as an untrusted workspace, sending any message can cause agent modifications to auto-loaded global configuration paths. We recommend you upgrade to Kiro IDE version 1.0.242 or later. Users who ran the agent in an untrusted workspace on an earlier version should also review the global Kiro configuration directory (~/.kiro) for entries they did not create.

    CVE-2026-94384 (GCVE-0-2026-94384)

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-09-22 17:07 – Updated: 2026-09-22 18:25
    VLAI
    Title
Missing Authorization in sfExecuteAWSService Lambda Dispatcher in Amazon Connect Salesforce Lambda
    Summary
Missing authorization in Amazon amazon-connect-salesforce-lambda before 5.26 allows any IAM principal with lambda:InvokeFunction permission on the affected function to escalate privileges and perform AWS API operations that their own IAM identity is explicitly denied, via invocation of a Lambda function that dispatches caller-supplied parameters to privileged service APIs without authorization validation. To remediate this issue, we recommend upgrading to version 5.26 or later. After setup is complete, either delete or disable the sfExecuteAWSService function. If you retain the function, restrict invocation to the intended IAM user only.

    Title
Incomplete fix for CVE-2026-75936 memory-amplification denial of service in Amazon ion-java
    Summary
Improper handling of highly compressed data in Amazon ion-java before 1.12.1 might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted compressed Ion document that expands to an arbitrarily large size upon decompression due to insufficient coverage of the GZIP auto-decompression opt-out introduced for CVE-2026-75936. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 1.12.1.

    CVE-2026-81849 (GCVE-0-2026-81849)

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2026-08-28 18:02 – Updated: 2026-08-31 18:44
    VLAI
    Title
Path traversal in the aws:downloadContent plugin in amazon-ssm-agent
    Summary
Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory in the aws:downloadContent plugin in amazon-ssm-agent before 3.3.4515.0 might allow an authenticated remote user whose ssm:SendCommand permission is restricted to the AWS-DownloadContent document, to write arbitrary files outside the intended download directory with root privileges, via crafted object keys in the S3 source the document is directed to retrieve. This issue may lead to arbitrary code execution as root if specific sensitive files are overwritten. To remediate this issue, customers should upgrade amazon-ssm-agent to version 3.3.4515.0 or later.

    Title
Consent bypass in python_repl tool via batch kwargs forwarding in Amazon Strands Agents Tools
    Summary
Improper neutralization of input used for LLM prompting in the python_repl tool in Amazon Strands Agents Tools before 0.8.5 might allow remote actors to execute arbitrary Python code on the agent's host by bypassing the human consent gate, via a crafted prompt that forwards non_interactive_mode as a keyword argument through the batch tool. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 0.8.5 or later.

    Title
Executable Resolution from Untrusted Project Directory in Kiro CLI on Windows
    Summary
An uncontrolled search path element in Kiro CLI before version 2.10.0 on Windows might allow a remote unauthenticated actor to execute arbitrary code via a maliciously crafted project directory containing an executable that bypasses workspace trust protections when a local user starts Kiro CLI in the directory. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.10.0 or higher.

    Title
QUIC Transport Parameters Memory Leak During HelloRetryRequest in s2n-tls
    Summary
The QUIC transport parameters extension handler in s2n-tls incorrectly uses s2n_alloc instead of s2n_realloc to store the peer's transport parameters. When a TLS 1.3 connection goes through a HelloRetryRequest, the handler is called twice on the same connection. On the second call, s2n_alloc zeroes the existing pointer before allocating new memory, causing the first allocation to be leaked. This can occur during normal QUIC traffic when a client offers a key share group the server does not prefer. An unauthenticated user can amplify the issue by deliberately forcing HelloRetryRequests, causing up to approximately 64 KB of unreachable memory per handshake. Over time, this can lead to increased memory consumption on long-running server processes. The unreachable memory is only reclaimed when the process is restarted. Only server-side QUIC-enabled deployments are affected. Non-QUIC TLS connections are not affected. We recommend you upgrade s2n-tls to version v1.7.6

"value": "The QUIC transport parameters extension handler in s2n-tls incorrectly uses s2n_alloc instead of s2n_realloc to store the peer\u0027s transport parameters. When a TLS 1.3 connection goes through a HelloRetryRequest, the handler is called twice on the same connection. On the second call, s2n_alloc zeroes the existing pointer before allocating new memory, causing the first allocation to be leaked.\n\n\n\nThis can occur during normal QUIC traffic when a client offers a key share group the server does not prefer. An unauthenticated user can amplify the issue by deliberately forcing HelloRetryRequests, causing up to approximately 64 KB of unreachable memory per handshake. Over time, this can lead to increased memory consumption on long-running server processes. The unreachable memory is only reclaimed when the process is restarted.\n\n\n\nOnly server-side QUIC-enabled deployments are affected. Title
Credential disclosure in Strands Agents Tools elasticsearch_memory tool
    Summary
Strands Agents is an open-source Python SDK for building and running AI agents. The strands-agents-tools package provides pre-built tools for use with the SDK, including the elasticsearch_memory tool for agent memory storage. We identified CVE-2026-15746, a server-side request forgery (SSRF) issue in the elasticsearch_memory tool. The tool exposed its connection parameters (es_url, cloud_id, api_key) as fields the large language model (LLM) could control through the tool schema. When a caller omitted the api_key parameter, the tool fell back to the operator's ELASTICSEARCH_API_KEY environment variable and sent it to whichever host the LLM specified. A crafted prompt could cause the tool to connect to a threat-actor-controlled server and disclose the operator's Elasticsearch API key in the Authorization header. We recommend you upgrade to strands-agents-tools version 0.7.0 or later. As a precautionary measure, we recommend all operators rotate their ELASTICSEARCH_API_KEY, even if there is no indication the credential was exposed.

    Title
Cross-namespace traffic interception via incorrect route precedence ordering in AWS Load Balancer Controller
    Summary
Incorrect behavior order in the Gateway API listener-rule generation in Amazon AWS Load Balancer Controller before 3.4.2 might allow an authenticated remote user to intercept, spoof, or deny another namespace's gRPC traffic on a shared Gateway via a crafted HTTPRoute resource. To mitigate this issue, users should upgrade to version 3.4.2.

    Title
Remote Code Execution via Unsafe Class Loading in Amazon Redshift JDBC Driver
    Summary
An issue exists in Amazon Redshift JDBC Driver versions prior to 2.2.2. Under certain conditions, the driver could load and execute arbitrary classes when processing JDBC connection URL parameters. An actor who can influence the connection URL could potentially execute code in the application context, provided a suitable class is available on the application's classpath. To mitigate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.2.2 or later.

    Title
Allocation of resources without limits in parsing components in Amazon Athena ODBC driver
    Summary
Allocation of resources without limits in the parsing components in Amazon Athena ODBC driver before 2.1.0.0 might allow a threat actor to cause a denial of service by delivering crafted input that triggers excessive resource consumption during the driver's parsing operations. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.1.0.0.

    Title
Improper certificate validation in identity provider connection components in Amazon Athena ODBC driver
    Summary
Improper certificate validation in the identity provider connection components in Amazon Athena ODBC driver before 2.1.0.0 might allow a man-in-the-middle threat actor to intercept authentication credentials due to insufficient default transport security when connecting to identity providers. This only applies to connections with external identity providers and does not apply to connections with Athena. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.1.0.0.

    Vulnerability from cvelistv5 – Published: 2025-11-05 21:20 – Updated: 2026-02-26 17:47
    VLAI
    Summary
Improper handling of the authentication token in the Amazon WorkSpaces client for Linux, versions 2023.0 through 2024.8, may expose the authentication token for DCV-based WorkSpaces to other local users on the same client machine. Under certain circumstances, a local user may be able to extract another local user's authentication token from the shared client machine and access their WorkSpace. To mitigate this issue, users should upgrade to the Amazon WorkSpaces client for Linux version 2025.0 or later.
