RHSA-2026:68272
Vulnerability from csaf_redhat - Published: 2026-09-16 15:29 - Updated: 2026-10-02 18:48A flaw was found in the klauspost/compress package. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a specially crafted compression dictionary with an excessively large repeat value, triggering an integer overflow. When the dictionary is subsequently processed, this overflow leads to out-of-bounds memory access, crashing the application and resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).

A flaw was found in the OpenTelemetry-Go `BatchingProcessor` component. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending a high volume of log emissions, which can fill the asynchronous export buffer. This causes the processor to enter a tight CPU loop, repeatedly retrying to export logs without proper waiting mechanisms. The consequence is the exhaustion of CPU resources, leading to a degradation or denial of service (DoS) in the affected application.

Vulnerabilities whose description is nearest to this one in the vector space of the CIRCL/vulnerability-attack-technique-biencoder model. This is a similarity search over the bi-encoder space (plain cosine), not a classification, and it has no measured accuracy.
